Hand-Carved Hot Air Balloon Stamp

Hand-Carved Hot Air Balloon Stamp

I fancied doing a little bit of stamp carving yesterday, as a break between job applications (although I probably ended up doing job applications between goes at stamping with it!) I was inspired by a tag that came with some wrapping paper I bought.

bright balloons

I repeated the process I used for the new home cards, stamping on different papers and cutting out the shapes to collage together. I also coloured some areas with Promarkers. The colours work well on bright white paper.

brown paper balloons

I then tried stamping onto brown paper, stamping patterns and colouring with Promarkers. Quite different, bit interesting I think.

Not sure what I’m going to do with all these balloons as yet, but fun to experiment.
